Athletic Republic delivers on-field success through scientifically-based performance training protocols that help athletes learn to move better, get faster, stronger and more powerful, while tailoring their conditioning in the best possible manner for their sport. The training tools and programs are designed to take the athlete just beyond his/her ground based training limitations so the brain learns to send stronger, more precise signals to the muscles.

This is the essence of what many experts call "neuromuscular training" and we have pioneered its development through 28 years of research and commitment to sport science principles. We hold six patents and 4,000+ pages of proprietary speed and skill-specific training protocols that meet the demands of every sport and athlete.  Athletic Republic training programs create faster, stronger, more explosive athletes who are able to play at game speed for longer and with fewer injuries.  Our performance improvements are documented and proven.

FOUNDATION PROGRAM


So many times, our young athletes are thrown into an advanced training program with little to no understanding of the proper technique or how to use their body. Often, this can lead to poor performance and create faulty movement patterns. That’s why we’ve developed a fundamental program for our young athletes to create a solid foundation of technique and body awareness preparing the body to excel in more advanced training. 

STRENGTH TRAINING


The foundation of our strength program is to develop a strong injury resistant athlete. Our programming is based on energy systems, movement patterns, primary as well as secondary movers, hypertrophy, strength, power, and velocity. As a result, we spend a lot of time developing decelerating musculature and healthy joints such as hips, knees, and shoulders. Our goal is to develop absolute strength with our athletes.

ACCELERATION TRAINING


At Athletic Republic, we improve your running mechanics. We improve your stride length and frequency, knee drive, hip positioning and your arm swing. Acceleration Training will make you fluid and efficient, far more powerful and better conditioned than your opponents. Athletic Republic Acceleration Training programs are designed to be completed in 4, 6, or 8 week training blocks.  Research has proven that athletes achieve the greatest results by training with Athletic Republic three times per week for 8 weeks and completing 24 sessions.

ENDURANCE TRAINING


Customize your training schedule with individualized, small-group speed, agility, strength, and balance.  Each training package includes a performance or threshold assessment to construct a program that will focus on your opportunities for improvement while building on your strengths.

MOVEMENT AND MOBILITY


Our movement classes are designed to promote strength and mobility using a nontraditional approach. Here we will train the body out of alignment on purpose to help “bulletproof” the joints and prepare them for the dynamic movements that occur on the playing field. A great compliment to our Strength Training, our movement classes will help promote active recovery while learning new skills such as balance and coordination through self-awareness. Focused play, joint prehab, spinal mobility and group work are all to be expected.

RETURN 2 PLAY


Our training focus is to ensure the athlete is prepared for the demands of athletic competition, minimize the risk of re-injury, educate the athlete and build core strength, flexibility, and neuromuscular development along with balance training, strength, speed, and agility. Not only will these qualities help reduce the chance of injury, they will also help you become competitive again. NUTRITION


In order to effectively lose weight or change your body composition, it is necessary to address both exercise and nutrition. Your path to obtain ultimate sports performance or simply live a healthier lifestyle revolves around eating, exercise, and education. Our nutrition specialist will calculate exactly how many calories you will need to consume on a daily basis to help you safely reach your goals and create a customized menu that fits your lifestyle. We will also receive an individualized activity program that explains how increased daily activity and different types of intensities of exercise will help you maximize daily caloric intake. YOGA FOR ATHLETES


This 90-minute strong yoga flow is specifically designed to improve an athlete’s performance. Each session will consist of breath-work, mobility to increase functional range of motion, strength, balance and much more. Beyond the physical benefits, athletes will also learn how to use their breath to calm them during the challenging times that will inevitably arise during any competition. 

ROTATIONAL VELOCITY TRAINING


This program is designed for rotational athletes such as baseball, softball, volleyball, lacrosse, golf, and tennis. Through this science-based program, athletes will begin to increase their game-specific velocity. Supported by the National Pitching Association and US Lacrosse, players will learn to create proper biomechanics and develop functional strength to increase their velocity.

Athletic Republic sport camps focus on development and conditioning, agility and footwork, speed and acceleration, sport-specific resistance cord work, core and strength development, and flexibility and coordination. TEAM TRAINING


At Athletic Republic, our Teach. Test. Train. approach is founded on offering individualized team training programs specifically tailored around the time of year (off-season, pre-season and in-season). Our staff will develop a training plan combining your coaching staff's assessment of your team's immediate needs, coupled with our proven, sport-specific protocols so that your team's athletes can focus on the specific elements of their game to improve their playmaking skills.
