Dave DiSanto

Head of Movement Program

Dave DiSanto first studied the meditative practices of Vipassana and Raja Yoga before attempting any of the moving postures. To better prepare himself for triathlons, Dave began the physical practice of yoga 10 years ago. Through his accomplishments and training, Dave’s yoga style is focused on good breathing and body movement. We are proud to have Dave enhancing the Escape team with his positive energy, significant accomplishments and dynamic personality.

Finishing the 2008 Lake Placid Ironman inspired Dave to consider what else the human body was capable of. The following year Dave quit his job of 7 years and set off to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail (Georgia to Maine) in its entirety. Six months and more than 2,000 miles later he was hooked! The next 4 years saw Dave traveling the country on foot completing thru-hikes of the Grand Enchantment Trail, (Phoenix, AZ to Albuquerque, NM) as well as another cross-country expedition, hiking from Mexico to Canada, completing all 2,600+ miles of the Pacific Crest Trail.

After completion of these awesome travels, Dave decided to help others realize their unique and amazing abilities. Dave has been a Personal Trainer ACSM Certified and has 200 hr. Yoga Teaching Certification in the Bhakti Method. Dave is a Certified Reiki Practitioner and is CPR/AED Certified as well. Today Dave encourages others to reap the benefits of a clean diet and positive thinking.

Coach Dave has an incredible amount of passion for human movement.  In 2017 and 2018 he has traveled to Thailand to attend the movement camp hosted by the great "Ido Portal."  Coach Dave has been putting in a lot of hours daily practicing his skills to help others.
